Southwest Sting
	Coaching and Coaches

As required by EMSA, Southwest Sting coaches require the following minimum qualifications:

Community Coaching Youth or Community Coaching Senior Technical Certificate
(previously Level 1 Youth and Level 1 Senior, respectively),
and NCCP Level 1 Coaching Theory.

In addition to the above requirements, SWEMSA requires that Sting coaching applicants must:

• submit an application to coach
• provide a minimum of two references
• apply for a security clearance check
• provide a list of parents and telephone numbers from previous teams
• be willing to upgrade
• possess good interpersonal skills
